Shows up in chapter one, throws her glitter membership card in the recycling without breaking stride, and changes what Azalea thinks is possible. Junie is blunt, funny in a completely flat voice, and allergic to rules that exist for no reason — but she is also the one who admits she broke a kid's clay sheep and handled it badly, which is how Azalea learns what a real apology sounds like.
